Luxury Custom Integration and Home Electronics to be ‘Served Up’ This Year
Piscataway, NJ -Febraury 27, 2006-
Nationally recognized and awarded systems integration firm, Electronics Design Group (EDG) of Piscataway, New Jersey, is pleased to announce their exhibition at this year’s “Architectural Digest Home Design Show”, organized by Architectural Digest magazine. The “Architectural Digest Home Design Show” runs from March 9-12, at Pier 94 in New York City, N.Y. Thursday, March 9, is dedicated as a preview day for trade members and press, at which time EDG will promote their catalog of AIA and ASID-approved courses to thousands of Interior Designers and Architects. Friday through Sunday, the show is open to the general public. 25,000 architects, interior designers, and consumers are expected to attend this year, looking for what’s new in the world of home design for 2006.
EDG will be stationed at booth # 864, located towards the middle of the main isle from the entrance. The 200 square foot booth will showcase their design processes and expertise on custom residential electronics systems integration such as audio/video, lighting control, motorized shading, home theaters, media rooms, and much more. EDG Systems Consultants will be easily accessible to all attendees.
One of the compelling highlights of EDG’s exhibit will be the cutting edge Kaleidescape Entertainment Server system. A natural selection for the avid movie buff, the Kaleidescape Server System allows consumers to import their whole movie library onto the system’s hard drive making the entire movie collection accessible from any room in the home. Electronics Design Group will be running a Kaleidescape demo every hour, displaying Kaleidescape’s easy to use interface, discussing its benefits and ease of use, and demonstrating the server’s unique movie cataloging system. The Kaleidescape system will be displayed on a high definition 43″ Runco Plasma TV to produce outstanding picture quality, and controlled via a 15″ Crestron color touch panel. The Crestron touch panel will be used to demonstrate how all of these electronic systems come together, at the consumers control with the touch of a button, exemplifying Total Home Automation. Mounted to the Runco plasma will be Leon Speakers’ ultra-thin ‘Horizon Series,’ an innovative design solution that can be custom made to match the exact width and height of any plasma television.
Passersby and prospects alike will be in for another treat when they stop by EDG’s exhibit. Electronics Design Group will be giving away two pairs of speakers, provided by B&W Loudspeakers and Triad Speakers. Stop by booth # 864 for more information and your chance to win!
