Has Daylight Savings Time got you all mixed up this week? Well, Lutron has something to light up those dark mornings, or any other time you need a light.
The first RadioRA2 appliance module from Lutron is now available. The module, a little adaptor that connects to any plug-in appliance, controls standby power and can be integrated into programed scenes (such as “Goodnight” or “Away”). By shutting off standby power on electronic appliances, the device allows users to decrease their energy use by 10 percent. The $149 module can be controlled by a Lutron keypad, motion sensor, timer or cell phone app, depending on how your programmer integrates it into your system.
